It seems like a long time since we've heard anything new from Cher Lloyd. But now she has announced the name to the follow up to her debut album, "Sticks + Stones," and now we have a name. Cher told Billboard on Wednesday (October 16) that her new album will be tilted "Sorry I'm Late" and is tentatively expected to be released at the end of the year. Cher says the new album title has a few different meanings behind it.
"I think it has two meanings," Cher told Billboard. "It's been a long time since I've actually done anything new, but for me, it's as a person. I mean, I've spent a whole lot of time trying to figure out who I am, and I think everybody goes through that."
The new album will feature her new single with T.I. called "I Wish" as well as other new material Cher previewed while on tour with Fifth Harmony this fall, which did include a stop in Denver. She says the new album title also represents the new more mature sound of the music.
"I think that album title basically sums up all the music, too," she added about the album. "It's been a long time, and here it is, and I'm really sorry that it's a little late!"
Cher's debut album was released in the United States just last October, but was released about a year before that in the U.K.
