Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly reports that during the week of January 27, 2013, Lloyd is filming a guest appearance on Nickelodeon's "Big Time Rush" sitcom, starring the boy band of the same name. The episode will premiere on a date to be announced.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the episode will have "James (James Maslow), desperate for attention, and Katie (Ciara Bravo) create a lie that he and Cher Lloyd are releasing a hot new duet and video."
Big Time Rush's Logan Henderson commented: “We have been a huge fan of Cher Lloyd’s work since 'X Factor.' We are so excited to have her guest starring on 'BTR.' She has a charming, sweet, and funny personality, which is a perfect fit for our show."
Lloyd came in fourth place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010. She is signed to Syco Music/Epic Records, which released her debut album, "Stick & Stones," in the U.S. in October 2012. The album was released in the U.K. in November 2011.
Lloyd's first U.S. single, "Want U Back," was a big hit: It reached No. 12 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and sold 2 million copies in the United States. "Stick & Stones" debuted in the U.S. at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart.
However, Lloyd's second U.S. single, "Oath" (featuring Becky G.), was a flop. It peaked at No. 99 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
"With Ur Love" (featuring Mike Posner) was Lloyd's second single in the U.K., where the song reached No. 4.
In 2012, Lloyd performed on several U.S. TV shows, including NBC's "Today," ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," NBC's "America's Got Talent," Fox's "The X Factor" and the syndicated talk shows "Live! With Kelly and Michael" and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." In addition, she was a judge on the Disney Channel dance contest "Make Your Mark." She also performed at several radio-station concerts.
