Cher, the idol of all who happen to hail from the 1970s, 50s, 60s, or basically the last hundred years or so, takes center stage again with her latest CD. Cher's newest video is proof that age is only a number, since she happens to be 60-something. You'd never know it by her stunning vocals and awesome video though, as her new single "Woman's World" is climbing the charts, even ahead of its official release. "Has it really been 12 years since we last heard Cher take over the radio waves with her last album, 'Living Proof?'", writes Julio Enriquez of Reverb on Aug. 23. Cher certainly seems to be turning back time once again with her new album.
Remember the cockroach analogy?
Well the wait is finally over for Cher fans. Next month marks the release of her "Closer to the Truth" album, which includes collaborations with the Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears, Pink and Denver musician and ex-Mouseketeer, Matt Morris.
Of course sadly, Cher's defunct duet with Lady Gaga is infamously absent, but it doesn't take away from her astounding new album.
Morris collaborated with Paul Oakenfold to write and arrange Cher's first single off of the album, "Woman’s World".
The song topped the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart as soon as it dropped last month.
This marks Cher’s 8th time doing so. "Woman’s World" is set to return the "I Got You Babe" singer back to No. 1.
