Cher's hugely successful Dressed To Kill has been playing to sold out arenas across Canada and the U.S. and is currently on its way to becoming the top grossing tour of 2014 so far. The first leg of the ageless pop diva's D2K North American tour ended July 11 and has already grossed nearly $55 million.

According to Billboard Boxscore statistics posted on July 15 at Billboard.biz.com, the Goddess of Pop sold out all 49 shows on the initial run and grossed $54.9 million. The tour has packed in a total of 610,812 attendees thus far and Billboard predicts that D2K will rank among the top grossing tours of 2014.

Touring in support of her hit album "Closer to the Truth," the "Believe" hitmaker recently extended her farewell run into November. Currently on hiatus, the next round of dates kick off Sept. 11 in Albany, N.Y. at Times Union Center and wrap up Nov. 3 in Wichita, Kan. at Intrust Bank Arena. Canadian stops on the upcoming run include two new shows on Oct. 24 - Oct. 25 at Toronto's Air Canada Centre. For more information, check out Cher.com or AXS.com.

Cher launched her initial 49-city D2K Tour on March 22 in Phoenix, Ariz. amid endless applause and ovations except at one point in the show when the pop diva told fans that D2K "is my farewell, farewell tour," which earned the night's only chorus of boos from fans. The Grammy and Oscar winning performer seems far from retirement, currently riding the highest charting album of her career and a near sold-out tour

Did you know? Cher's latest album "Closer to the Truth" debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 album chart, earning the ageless diva her highest-charting solo album to date.
