Grande diva Stevie Nicks made a cameo appearance on the last season of "American Horror Story," and rumors have been circulating that Cher would take a similar spin on the series this season. While nothing has been officially confirmed, a new "American Horror Story" teaser made its way onto YouTube Sunday, and while it isn't an official release from FX networks, it certainly looks good.
The video features a vintage, stylized look reminiscent of old films. Keeping in line with the "Freak Show" theme of the upcoming season, this particular video of share shows her being especially long in the tooth, so to speak, we are not talking about the age of the ever youthful songstress.
The clip only lasts 11 seconds, but that is pretty much in line with the flow of teaser videos that "American Horror Story" loves to throw at fans, like breadcrumbs leading up to the next season. While the thought of share being on the series makes many fans minds want to explode with joy, could that be a little too much diva power between Cher and Jessica Lange? Or is there even such a thing as too much diva power?
"American Horror Story" has a long history of fake trailers and promotional images that look real and accurately mimic the style of the promotional material creators. There wasn't early release that showed an angel in a carnival show opening her wings, then showed someone behind her manually opening the fake wings in a creepy way.
So what do you think? Is this a real teaser or another fake? Would you like to see Cher on the series this season? One fan is so keen to see it they have created a Facebook page dedicated to seeing Cher join the series, which has some nice unofficial artwork.
