Cher has expanded her hugely successful "Dressed to Kill Tour" with multiple new fall shows in the U.S. and Canada. The ageless pop diva made the announcement during an appearance May 14 on NBC's "Today Show."
According to a news release on AEGLive.com on May 15, the Goddess of Pop has confirmed 14 additional shows, including two new shows on Oct. 24 - 25 at Toronto's Air Canada Centre. Currently touring in support of her hit album Closer to the Truth, the new run of dates kicks off Sept. 11 in Albany, N.Y. at Times Union Center.
General ticket sales for the Toronto shows begin May 23. Albany, Manchester, Allentown, University Park, Boston, Hartford, Washington and Auburn Hills ticket sales begin May 19. Presales begin May 15.
Cher launched her initial 49-city D2K run on March 22 in Phoenix, AZ amidst endless applause and ovations, except for when the iconic singer told fans that D2K "is my farewell, farewell tour," which earned the night's only chorus of boos from fans. The "Believe" hitmaker seems far from retirement, currently riding the highest charting album of her career, and a near sold-out tour.
Cher's next D2K performance will be May 14 in Jacksonville, FL at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. The next Canadian stop will be Jun. 20 in Winnipeg, MB at MTS Centre.
