Chelsee Oaks and American Idol moment:: Duets and an "Idol Moment'

American Idol last night had quite a few highlights:  They may have found THE ONE according to Steven Tyler in a clip.  Several of the male contestants were vocally well endowed. American Idol highlighted 3 male contestants, one of which "wowed" Jennifer.  The best part though was Chelsea who is the niece of our own National Missing Persons Examiner, Jerrie Dean.  Maybe there are only six degrees of separation, after all.

Chelsea had a wonderful voice and her ex-boyfriend, Rob also had a wonderful voice.  Together their voices were heavenly. The couple could not make love work for them, but as Steve Tyler pointed out,
"Sometimes the deepest passion comes from FRICTION"

As the couple walked off stage the song playing in the background was "I just need you now". .  Both singers sang individually as well as duet.  Both were chosen individually and are "Going to Hollywood."

Chelsea's voice has a great quality and you can the judges reactions seemed very favorable. Her current boyfriend is very supportive of her singing and was there to cheer her on.  This story is an American Idol moment you won't want to miss.   Check it out on the videos to the left.
