Chelsea Market's newest dessert destination

With Eleni's New York, Fat Witch Bakery, and Jacques Torres, Chelsea Market has already earned its place among Manhattan's best places to pick up a sweet treat. So it only makes sense that a company selling perfectly bite-sized, fun-flavored doughnuts would choose to open up a stand inside this foodie paradise.

Doughnuttery, located in the market next to Bar Suzette, offers a fresh new take on the indulgent breakfast favorite. The mini doughnuts are made in front of you, with the dough travelling down a conveyor belt-type machine to bake them. Each doughnut is specially made by order, with the flavors ranging from the classic glazed doughnut to a unique menu of sugars that are put on each doughnut by hand. The sugared toppings range from the "Cherry Pop," made of sour cherry, ancho chili, and pop candy powders, to the "Purple Pig," comprised of maple, purple potatoes, and bacon. Customers feeling extra-adventurous can then choose an extra "Dough Dip" for their treats, such as toffee sauce or even a pumpkin beer caramel sauce. Hot apple cider is also available to wash the doughnuts down.
