Handler's manager Irving Azoff confirmed the comedienne's departure once her contract expires during an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, where he also announced that Handler has no shortage of options following her goodbye to the network who bolstered her career and made her famous, including a radio show and a possible show with either a different network or a digital service.
The comedienne and best-selling author has not been shy about voicing her displeasure with the network throughout her almost decade-long run, commenting to Howard Stern at one point during an interview that, "They don’t know what they’re doing. They have no ideas. It’s a failure."
While E! has not confirmed or denied the departure, a spokesperson for the network simply said, "Chelsea still has nine months left."
