Chef Paul Nagan is the Executive Chef of Denver’s range. Nagan was most recently Executive Chef of Zink Kitchen + Bar at the Doubletree Hotel Denver Tech in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Prior to that, Nagan was the consulting chef responsible for menu development, design and opening of the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, where he orchestrated culinary events catering to celebrities including Cindy Crawford, Robert De Niro and others. Before joining Hard Rock Hotels, Nagan had a long tenure with Marriott, as chef at properties including Denver Renaissance Hotel; the four-star, four-diamond San Mateo Marriott & Convention Center; Portland Downtown Waterfront; and Vail Marriott Mountain Resort.
A culinary graduate with honors from Johnson & Wales University, Nagan also has a Bachelors Degree in Economics & Business from Iowa’s Cornell College. His accolades include top finishes at the Colorado Taste of Excellence Competition and the National Taste of Elegance Competition in San Diego. He defines his cooking style as global eclectic with Colorado flair.
Opening May 2014 within the former Colorado National Bank building, range is located at 918 17th Street, and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Under the direction of Executive Chef Paul Nagan, range offers cuisine that celebrates the cultural heritage and adventurous spirit of the American West, prepared with a modern day sophistication. The restaurant features a bar offering a wide selection of local beers, liquors and wines, a private dining room and a wood fired oven, in which much of the fare will be prepared.
