The event is sponsored by Michiana's own Better World Books. BWB also diverts books from landfills by reusing and recycling them. It was founded by two Notre Dame graduates.

If you live in the South Bend/Mishawaka area, you've probably seen Better World Books' green book drop boxes around town.

Readers will be glad to know that in addition to selling used books at very reasonable prices, BWB also offers free shipping on its books to anywhere in the world. Every single purchase helps support literacy and the environment.

In addition to its online bookstore, BWB operates a retail store at 215 S. Main St. in Goshen and an outlet store at 55740 Currant Rd. in Mishawaka.
