Chef dinner and art benefit community farmers markets and Wonderoot

On Saturday, May 10th from 7 to 11 p.m., at the Krog Street Market located at 99 Krog Street in Atlanta, Atlanta nonprofits WonderRoot and Community Farmers Markets will hold the first-ever WonderFarm, an evening event featuring a seated dinner and art celebration.

With a dining experience curated by Miller Union chef Steven Satterfield featuring nearly 20 of Atlanta’s best chefs and art installations and performances organized by WonderRoot, the event will raise awareness for the organizations’ missions and shared values while raising funds for both nonprofits.
WonderFarm is a premiere event that brings together fare from Miller Union chef Steven Satterfield and friends, made with ingredients selected by farmer Joe Reynolds of Love Is Love, and an art experience designed by Gavin Bernard and Jane Garver. WonderFarm will appeal to all five senses. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, gourmet seated dinner, interactive demonstrations, performances, art installations and a silent auction within the new Krog Street Market, never before open to the public.

Wonderfarm chefs will include: Steven Satterfield (Miller Union), Eli Kirshtein (The Luminary), Micah Gower (H. Harper Station), Kevin Ouzts (The Spotted Trotter and Cockentrice), Kevin Rathbun (KR SteakBar, Rathbun’s), Sarah O’Brien (Little Tart Bakeshop), Sarah Dodge, Ford Fry (The Optimist and St. Cecilia), Asha Gomez (Spice Road and Cardamom Hill), Angus Brown (Octopus Bar), Jarrett Stieber (Eat Me Speak Me), Jay Swift (4th & Swift), Todd Ginsberg (The General Muir), David Sweeney, Todd Richards (The Shed), Cathy Conway & Seth Freedman (Avalon Catering) and Martha McMillin (Preserving Place).

Artists include: Jane Garver, Gavin Bernard, Brittany Boscoe, Pablo Gecko, Mike Black, Lana Volgestad, Mike Stansy, Erik Thurmond, Mary Grace Phillips, Kevin Byrd and Jesse Valeo.

In addition to benefitting Community Farmers Markets and WonderRoot, the goal of WonderFarm is to build pathways to participation in the local farming and arts communities through an all-new cultural experience. Honorary Chairs are Camille Russell Love and Mary Laney Reilly.

Tickets to this event are available at $250 per person. Host levels begin at $500 to $3,500 for a table for ten.
