Dr. Paul Nassif took legal action against former wife Adrienne Maloof’s personal chef Bernie Guzman after Guzman posted photos of a bruised Adrienne Maloof on his personal Facebook page, claiming that the bruises were a result of physical abuse by Nassif. Radar Online reported on Feb. 4 that Guzman is not backing down, standing by his claims that Paul physically abused Adrienne during their 10 year marriage.
“Paul is a 50-year-old man acting like a little boy. He’s trying to silence the violence and I’m not going to let him.”
Nassif contacted his attorneys to handle the situation after Guzman allegedly sent him a text message that told Paul to stop harassing him, and saying he had plenty of “not so pretty” family photos . Bernie also accused Dr. Paul Nassif of abusing his children and his pets. In the text message Guzman says he witnessed Nassif “beat his wife” Adrienne Maloof.
Guzman insists that he was only trying to help Adrienne Maloof, who he considers a close friend, and he believes she was being abused by her husband.
Nassif’s lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court and alleges that Bernie’s accusations are “outrageous and vicious lies.”
Guzman says he plans to fight the lawsuit saying:
“Paul has been trying to keep me quiet for a long time. My mom and my niece were victims of domestic violence and I’m not going to let that happen to anyone else I care about. I’m fighting for all those women out there who can’t fight for themselves.”
Dr. Nassif’s lawsuit against "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" personal chef seeks an injunction to prevent Bernie Guzman from making any further statements about him and is seeking “punitive damages in an amount sufficient to punish or make an example of Guzman, according to proof at trial,” and other costs.
