Team USA is back in action in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. On Tuesday, July 1, fans can catch the Team USA men’s soccer team on the big screen at Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati as they battle Belgium for their chance to advance in the Round of 16 in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. 3CDC's World Cup Watch Party will begin at 3:00pm and will go until 7:00pm. The match up against Belgium begins at 4:00pm on ESPN and will be broadcast on Fountain Square's Giant Fifth Third LED Board atop Macy’s department store at Fifth & Vine Streets. Food trucks and other vendors will be set up on the square with food and drinks for fans to enjoy. Event parking will be available for fans right under the square in the Fountain Square Garage.

Hundreds of fans turned out in their red, white and blue at last week’s World Cup Watch Party on Thursday, June 26 against Germany. Although Team USA lost the match, they were ranked high enough in the group standings to advance to the Round of 16. The winner of the USA vs. Belgium match will play the winner of the Argentina vs. Switzerland match. That match kicks off today at noon on ESPN. If Team USA advances in today’s match they will play on Saturday, July 5 at noon.

Fans of all ages are invited to partake in today’s World Cup Watch Party and root for Team USA. The World Cup Watch Party is organized by 3CDC and is sponsored by the Cincinnati Saints and Hoist.
