Michael Maren’s “A Short History of Decay” releases to DVD today, June 10, and Arc Entertainment has unveiled an exclusive clip from the film.
In the film, Bryan Greenberg plays Nathan, an unemployed writer who has trouble putting words to his play and who has yet to write the novel about which he keeps telling people. His live-in girlfriend tells him that she’s dumping him, because she is seeing someone else. He travels to Florida to spend time with his parents, both of whom are dealing with health problems. His dad just suffered a stroke, and his mother has Alzheimer’s. Even though they’ve been distant from each other, the days spent with his parents will make Nathan realize that he should cherish every moment with them.
In this exclusive clip, which can be found at the top of the page, Nathan tells his now ex-girlfriend that his father suffered a stroke. She thinks it’s a way to win him over, but he reassures her that it is not.
