Golfers can swing by with their special someone and friends during Thirsty Thursdays for a terrific meal while they kick back and groove to classic rock performances by Dave Kalil, Tyler Healey and Todd Huckabone.
“When visitors drop by on Thursdays they are able to explore our facilities, which include the golf boutique, Ironstone Grill and meeting rooms for businesses or private functions that are equipped with hi-tech capabilities,” said Andrew Donaldson, director of operations and golf. “On Thirsty Thursdays at Ironstone, we serve half-off selected appetizers from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and then there’s full menu service from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. The guys keep things rocking with their Dueling Pianos act from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. when the audience participates by requesting songs.”
In the clubhouse boutique, bargain hunters are able to pick up brand name apparel and equipment at prices that are up to 70% off.
The apparel lineup features merchandise from Travis Mathew, Greg Norman, Antigua, Tommy Hilfiger, Abacus, Sun Ice, AUR, Dockers, Mizuno, Foot Joy, Cutter and Buck, Daily, Pakage, and Pukka.
The equipment choices come courtesy of Titleist, Foot Joy, Ping, Mizuno, Cobra, Ogio and Kikkor.
The Marshes is getting out the word to Ottawa Valley PGA of Canada members to sign on to play in and support the 2014 ScotiaBank Serge Giroux Golf Dream Classic.
The event raises funds for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families so they can experience a golf dream vacation in Orlando.
The classic is scheduled for May 30 and will commence at noon with a luncheon. A 1 p.m. shotgun start follows with a reception and food-station dining schedule for after the round.
