Anyone can label themselves a geek of something he/she has an interest in; such as being a video game geek, anime geek, or sports geek. So for all of you car geeks who want to check out upcoming cars, the Silicon Valley International Auto Show located at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center from January 10-13th is the perfect chance to check out upcoming car models from Ford, GMC, Honda, Jaguar, Mercedes, and countless other makes. In addition to looking at the many cars, several companies are offering free test drives to hopefully whet your interest in considering theirs when it's time for your next car purchase or lease. Plenty of automotive representatives will be on hand to talk about the features of their company's cars awhile providing free brochures and freebies.
Admission is only $10/day for people over the age of 13, $7 for seniors over 62 or with military ID or children 7-12, and free for children 6 and under with paid adult. Sunday is Family day and children under 12 are free with paid adult admission. Adults who drive can recoup the $10 in the form of a Target gift card by test driving the new Honda Accord while gift card supplies last. Parking at the Convention Center can get pricey and limited, so taking VTA to the Convention Center is recommended.
