“With a Texas groove, "Spirit of Abilene” is a great indication that a smokin' new Seattle CD is coming."Chunkabilly Blues" with Chris Lord and Cheatin’ River has me wanting more.”
~Jonathan “Oogie” Richards NWCZ Radio - Mighty Mouth Blues~
“How could you go wrong with an album called “Chunkabilly Blues?” You Can’t. Chris Lord and Cheatin' River is a blend of classic Stevie Ray Vaughn-blues mixed with a little Louisiana creole soul. Their bar room blues makes for a beer chuggin’ good time.”
