Chattanooga's downtown restaurants honor mothers

May 11, 2014 is a holiday that all mothers love. It is her special day. It is Mother’s
Day. This year honor your mother by taking her to brunch or dinner at one of Chattanooga’s fabulous downtown restaurants. Speaking as a mother, nothing is better than dinner downtown and a family carriage ride after the meal. To sweeten the deal, 3 of Chattanooga’s top restaurants are offering specials for her special day. For all those families with young children these restaurants are offering special child prices for these meals.

Public House Chattanooga
Enjoy the “Public House Sunday Supper Favorites” from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This brunch buffet features favorite morning foods; such as, eggs, pancakes and smoked salmon. Along, with the morning favorites, there is a special supper favorites section that includes mac and cheese, fried chicken and pork loin. Reservations are required. The Public House is located at 1110 Market Street and can be reached at 423-266-3366. The Mother’s Day brunch price is $26 per person.

TerraMae Appalachian Bistro
Treat your mom to a meal at the 2014 Winner of the OpenTable Diner’s Choice award. TerraMae’s Mother’s Day special is a 3-course meal with 15 different offerings that is stocked with choices such as lump crab cocktail, Peanut Dusted Pork Tenderloin and chocolate caramel cake. Be prepared to have trouble deciding which of TerraMae’s wonderful dishes to order. The Brunch will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. TerraMae is located at 122 East 10th Street. Reservations can be made online or by calling 423-710-2925. The price for three-course meal and bottomless mimosas is $47.

Broad Street Grill

Broad Street Grill, located inside the Chattanoogan Hotel, is celebrating mom with a Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch. The brunch includes a variety of appetizers, carved meats, breakfast items, along with delicious entrees and desserts. The brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a cost of $37 a person. Reservations may be made by calling 423-424-3700.
