Chattanooga Restaurants: Best Valentine's Dinners 2013

In fact, Chattanooga restaurants have created ways of celebrating Valentine’s 2013 in a unique manner. So, this Valentine’s Day make your true love feel extra special by sharing your love of food with them in one of Chattanooga’s extraordinary, romantic restaurants.

Southern Belle

Enjoy Shrimp Cocktail, Prime Rib and Baby Bella Chicken in Alfredo Sauce while cruising the Tennessee River aboard the Southern Belle. Added to this delicious dinner is a split of Champagne, a special dessert and live entertainment. The dinner and cruise is only $55 a person, but for just $42 extra, you can receive a guaranteed window seat, a bottle of Champagne or Wine with 2 keepsake glasses and a photo packet. Reservations are required.

Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum

Ride into history with your special someone this Valentine’s Day. The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum is offering eight special Dinner Trains on board a restored 1924 dining car. These Dinner Trains offer a four-course meal and a journey though urban Chattanooga passing Warner Park Zoo and Chattanooga National Cemetery. The dates are February 8, 9, 10, and 14. Prices start out at $140 per couple with selections of beef, chicken, fish and vegetarian main entrees. Reservations are definitely required.

Back Inn Café

Located in the Bluff View Art District near Hunter Museum of American Art, Back Inn Café is holding their annual Valentine’s Wine Dinner on February 14th from 4-10pm. The extravagant meal includes six courses that are individually paired with select wines chosen specifically to elicit the most in each flavor profile. Held in Chattanooga’s most romantic restaurant, the six-course meal and selected wine pairings is only $75 per person. What a way to say “I love you” to that someone special.

Broad Street Grill

Broad Street Grill, inside the Chattanoogan Hotel, is expanding the Valentine’s holiday by offering their special Valentines menu for two days, Valentine’s Day and the following Friday. Saturday the 16th is their usual Saturday Date Night which will also feature a special Valentines menu. Their 2013 Valentine menu consists of a four course meal with entrée choices for every palate, including Grilled Beef Tenderloin, Mushroom Stuffed Free Range Chicken Breast, Southern Seafood Grits and Carolina Shrimp and Sautéed Vegetable Risotto. They will also offer a Valentine’s Dessert Table that features a pink white chocolate waterfall. Reservations are a must.

Mt. Vernon Restaurant

Mt. Vernon has taken Valentine’s celebrations to a whole new level. First the Mullican Trio will be performing from 6 to 9 pm. Second, they are offering one glass of complimentary glass of Champagne. Finally, their Valentine special is called “A Taste of Aphrodisiacs”. This sensational meal is a five course dinner that includes such delightful dishes as Roasted Oysters on the Half Shell, Special Arugula Salad, Lemon Sorbet, Filet Mignon and Dark Chocolate Ice Cream with almond crumble and burgundy syrup. Reservations will not be accepted during this time.
