Chattanooga Police charged Dennis Weyers with the death of Robin Sanders, 51, a police spokesman said.
Police said Weyers was the boyfriend of Sanders, who died at her home at 103 Cross St., on Dec. 26.
Officer Nathan Hartwig said police were called to the residence around 4:30 p.m. Saturday where they found the victim dead in her bed.
The investigation led police to Weyers, who was charged with criminal homicide, he said.
Weyers was booked at the Hamilton County Jail where he remains under a $800,000 bond.
