Chataka Masti is a small vegetarian Indian restaurant serving up homestyle Indian foods on Route 59. Recently, Chataka Masti has introduced a new “Tiffin” service, which could be a helpful (and delicious) solution for many busy Naperville residents. “Tiffin” is a term that originated in British-India and describes a snack or on-the-go meal, and has since evolved into a term that refers to meal catering arrangements.
The restaurant,which opened three years ago, has seen a trend in requests for regular orders, and the owner, Milan Muchhar, introduced the Tiffin service to meet this demand. With the Tiffin service, customers can pre-order meals on a monthly basis, select the delivery days (Monday through Sunday), and receive their food via free delivery, so long as the delivery location is within 5 miles of the restaurant.
Milan recognized that customers were regularly stopping in for fresh bread, which is baked daily in the kitchen, and homemade, healthy, vegetarian dishes. For $3.99 per meal, customers can select one subji (curried vegetable), two freshly made rotis (Indian flatbread) and raita (cured yogurt). Family combinations can also be ordered for $9.99, and also includes sambhar (lentil soup), papad (Indian crispy bread), a salad, and a dessert, providing enough food to serve three to four people.
