“Chasing Nashville” is a docu-drama about teen girls looking to break into the country music business. It follows five talented teen girls throughout a battle to win a record deal. In each reality show there is always a break-out star or two, and in “Chasing Nashville” it was Savannah Little. She was dubbed as the “spoiled starlet” but that was far from the truth. According to a Dec. 6 tweet from Robyn Little (Savannah’s mom), Savannah’s original song “I Don’t Wanna Be the Reason” from the show is available in iTunes. Fans of the show were able to watch the process that went into writing the song and hear Savannah sing it for the producer, Keith.
Savannah Little was called “the whole package” and fans were upset that she was not in the final showcase for the Nashville producers. In fact, fellow contestant Helena Hunt voiced her distaste about Lauren Marie Presley essentially taking Savannah’s place. Little takes her singing quite seriously and fans believe she will be around for the long haul.
Right now there hasn’t been an official announcement from Lifetime about the fate of “Chasing Nashville,” but it was pulled from the air and episodes have only been available on iTunes, on demand, or the Lifetime website.
