New menu items have been added to the Chart House menu for spring. The new items are available today. The new appetizers and entrees are available at the Chart House’s two Orange County locations in Dana Point and Newport Beach.
The items include Chilled Sweet Pea Soup, Shrimp, Brie & Artichoke Melt, Haystack Shrimp with “cool melon feta salad”, Strawberry Spinach Salad and Gorgonzola Waffle and King Salmon with crispy Potato Leek Cakes as well as a new Shrimp Pasta.
The Chart House describes the new menu items as “cosmopolitan tastes of the season.”
The Dana Point location is at 34442 Street of the Golden Lantern. Phone 949-493-1183. Hours are Sunday through Thursday 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The Newport Beach location is at 2801 Coast Hwy., West. Phone 949-548-5889. Hours are Monday through Thursday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The new menu items and the views at both locations are draws for both restaurants.
The Chart House is part of Landry’s Inc. Among other restaurants owned by Landry’s are Claim Jumper, Morton’s The Steakhouse and McCormick and Schmick’s , all with Orange County locations. Morton’s The Steakhouse is in Anaheim and Santa Ana. Claim Jumper is located in Costa Mesa and Mission Viejo. McCormick and Schmick’s is located in Anaheim and Irvine.
