Charmed Leaf, an online boutique cigar reseller has also opened up a brick and mortar retail store to showcase the boutique cigar brands they are selling.
To celebrate the Grand Opening, Charmed Leaf is holding their First Annual South Florida Tweet Up (#SoFlaTweetUp) on March 2nd and 3rd at the store.
If you have never been to a “TweetUp”, it is basically a group of folks that have met on Twitter that get together in person and share a common activity that interests them.
This Tweetup will obviously be focused on cigars. The event’s sponsor is Cigar Snob Magazine. Also attending the event will be Jonathan Drew of Drew Estate, Eddie Ortega of Ortega Cigars, (formally with 601/EO Brands), Ernesto Padilla of Padilla Cigars, Jason Wood and Barry Stein of Miami Cigar & Company, Dan Tiant of El Tiante Cigars, Lou Rodriguez of Lou Rodriguez Cigars, Luis Sanchez of La Tradicion Cubana, Frank Herrera of Herrera Cigars / La Caridad del Cobre Cigars, Reynold Benitez of Benitez Cigars, Beny & Loren Gomez of Havana Sunrise & Casa Gomez and Brad Mayo of Jameson Cigars.
On Friday, March 2nd, the party begins at 11AM by herfing with all of the attending manufacturers and attending tweeters. There will be raffle prizes throughout the day and a bar crawl after the store closes at 9PM.
On Saturday, March 3rd, the party continues with more cigars, a pig roast, more raffles and live music.
