Charmcity Skatepark announces it's 2013 Summer Camp dates

In 2012 the Charmcity Skatepark in Baltimore, Maryland held their third Skatecamp in the19 years they have been in business. The 2012 camp program was a huge success."Camp is a really labor intensive effort and these last few years we finally got the staff right to handle such an important program." said Jason Chapman owner of the Charmcity Skatepark. The 2012 skatecamp was a travel camp where the campers spent a few days at the Charmcity Skatepark and the rest of their camp time traveling to other parks. They filmed a lot of the action, putting the Charm team and a few of the campers in the video recap which covered all three weeks of the camp. The 2012 campers traveled to a wide variety of skateparks and gave the kids a taste of the very diverse group of parks this area has to offer. Parks like the Lansdowne Bowl a giant concrete park that was built in the late 70's and on the opposite end of the spectrum the brand new Dunkirk Skatepark which is a hybrid metal/asphalt skatepark. The Dunkirk park had just been completed at the time of the camp's visit. Additional parks visited by the camp were the Wakefield Skatepark (boasting a brand new concrete area), Sawmill Skatepark, Glasgow Skatepark, Laurel Skatepark, The North Point Plaza, The D.C. Maloof Money Cup Course, Brooklynn Park Skatepark and of course the Charmcity Skatepark! Taking the campers to various parks was new for 2012 Charmcity Skate camp but one of the biggest changes to camp was allowing BMX and Scooters in addition to Skateboarding. All three disciplines meshed well and there weren’t any issues.
