Charm City Folk & Bluegrass Festival slated for April 26

The Second Annual Charm City Folk & Bluegrass Festival is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 in Druid Hill Park in Baltimore. Ticket prices go up Feb. 1, so if you're sure you want to go, hope the weather will work out and check out the site at or the Facebook page at,

In January, you can get a ticket for $57. Prices rise $10 in February. A limited number of VIP tickets, which provide extra perks (better viewing area, food, beer, a special entrance, tent access, etc.) cost $120, $150 after Feb. 1.

Headliners include Grammy Award winning dobro player Jerry Douglas, who plays with Allison Krauss & Union Station. Check him out on the attached video.

Other acts on the bill include Sierra Hull, Audie Blaylock & Redline, Ken Kolodner & Brad Kolodner, Noam Pikelny & Friends, Chris Eldridge & Julian Lage, Cris Jacobs, Trace Friends Mucho and Mad-Sweet Pangs.

Other acts will be added to the bill, including a local contest winner.

The festival starts at noon.

$2 of every general admission ticket will support the Howard Peters Rawlings Conservatory in the park.
