Also, be sure to check out their moonshine bar! Hang your coat for a while at cozy Wolfgang Puck Pizza | Bar and sip a $5 Limonata... or three. Next, step through Zink's big, red doors, and belly up to the long bar for dapper drinkables. Head down the road to sister restaurant Upstream and soak up the ambiance of the newly renovated bar. Takeover Friday starts at 7pm at The Westin!
Takeover Friday, Charlotte's LGBT and Straight Ally Mobile Social Network, is hosting the Kickoff Party to the Human Rights Campaign North Carolina Gala on Friday, February 22 at the Westin Charlotte. Poised as one of the largest events over a 12 year span with expected numbers of over 1,500, the Westin is a favorite among Takeover fans. It's a FREE event for everyone with several overly large bars to accommodate the large numbers. DJ Little Betty will be rocking the beats throughout the night. Dress attire will be everything from jeans to cocktail dresses and jackets. Takeover begins at 7pm and goes strong until 11pm! Takeover is only one of the many events surrounding the 2013 HRC North Carolina Gala.
