Charlotte Ronson's FW 2014 collection embraces boldness and allure

Charlotte Ronson decided to mix things up a bit with her Fall/Winter 2014 collection that was presented at the Hub at the Hudson Hotel. Steering away from the lighter colors that she presented for Spring 2014, Ronson’s collection focuses on darker colors, leather, velvet, sheer silhouettes, and rich floral prints. It’s bold, sophisticated, and trendy, with looks that seem so comfortable. Jesse Metcalfe, Cara Santana, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Zendaya, Adrienne Bailon, and Jamie Chung were among the celebrities that came to check out the collection.

Key looks included a black crepe and chiffon dress, a floral print dress with a scalloped neck line, a black velvet crop top paired with a black stripe mesh skirt, and an off-the-shoulder floral print dress. The looks were edgy with a classy touch – perfect for the confident woman that stands her ground.

The presentation was amazing and this held true for the after-party presented by Manhattan Magazine as well. In addition to celebrating Ronson’s presentation, the party held at the Sanctuary Hotel’s new restaurant called Tender, also served as an exclusive preview of the new venue. Notable guests included Jesse Metcalfe, Natalia Kills, Joe Jonas, Siva Kaneswaren from The Wanted, Mariska Hargitay, Morgan O'Connor and Chanel Omari, among others. Samantha Ronson, who was the DJ at Charlotte’s presentation, played a set at her after-party as well. Guests enjoyed Voga and Zing Vodka cocktails as they danced the night away. Tender, designed by Josh Held and owned by Hank Freid and Brandon Freid, will be opening in March.

What a great mix of fashion, celebrities, and new trends!
