Charlize Theron will host “Saturday Night Live” for a second time tonight, after not being on the iconic show for almost 14 years. Her musical guest will be The Black Keys, according to NBC. To promote the show, Charlize filmed some clips with “SNL” cast member Taran Killam in a control room setting, and another set of clips with The Black Keys and cast regular, Cecily Strong.

In the filmed promo clips with Taran, Charlize gives Taran a new voicemail greeting; Taran messes things up in the control room; Charlize reveals her actual age; another cast member is out to get Charlize; Charlize and Taran do the “model face;” and Charlize gets physical with Taran demonstrating stunt moves from her new Seth MacFarlane movie, “A Million Ways to Die in the West.”

In promos with The Black Keys and Cecily, Charlize wants to give members of The Black Keys to moms for Mother’s Day; all engage in “crazy” banter; and Cecily thinks Charlize is hot, prompting her to compliment Cecily.

As noted, Charlize is starring in the feature film, “A Million Ways to Die in the West.” IMDB describes the plot of the movie as involving a meek farmer (Seth), who falls for a new woman in town (Charlize). The farmer is forced to muster up some courage when the woman’s rough and tumble gunslinger husband arrives in town.

As far as tonight’s musical guest, The Black Keys will be making a number of appearance after their “SNL” stint. The band recently announced their Turn Blue World Tour on its website. Also, the group will appear on the “Late Show with David Letterman” and will be performing a special invite-only show for “Live on Letterman” on May 12. Then, on May 13, The Black Keys will guest on “The Colbert Report.” If that’s not enough, group member Patrick will conduct an informative Reddit AMA on May 14.

“SNL” hosted by Charlize Theron with musical guest The Black Keys airs Saturday night at 11:30/10:30c on NBC.
