Charlie Sheen flip-flopped on Twitter Thursday, first apologizing to Ashton Kutcher, then threatening him (though possibly tongue-in-cheek). The tweets are atop Sheen's verified Twitter account, at the time of this writing.
It started with an apology. As most know, Kutcher replaced Sheen on the hit TV show "Two And A Half Men" in 2011 after Sheen's public meltdown. Since then, Sheen has been free with his negative comments regarding Kutcher and his acting skills on the show, such as the and Charlie has had some negative things to say about Ashton and his performance since then, such as asking Kutcher to "quit barfing on my old brilliant show".
When Kutcher appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" this week, he "appealed" to Sheen to stop the jabs. He said:
Dude, shut the f**k up! Seriously, like, enough already. It's three years later and you're still blowing me up on Twitter? Come on, dude, really?
That statement can be seen in the embedded video.
Following that statement, Sheen apologized on Twitter, tweeting:
Ashton message received. so sorry u sounded like me! well done! my bad I was p****d at other c**p & took it out on you. hope u r good xox c
However, Sheen was not ready to let it sit there. He tweeted a follow-up message two hours later. He said:
But news flash Dood, you ever tell me to shut the F*** up, EVER again, and I'll put you on a hospital food diet for a year. c #YaFeelMe Jr?
It could be a tongue-in-cheek comment, or it could be serious, though with Sheen, who knows? Sheen starred on "Two and A Half Men" in seasons one through eight. He currently stars in "Anger Management."
