Charlie Sheen told 'Don't act like Lohan'

It seems that Charlie Sheen the TV star may be now be hurting Charlie Sheen the movie star. Sheen was slated to appear in the upcoming "Major League" sequel, but that now appears in jeopardy.

According to TMZ, James G. Robinson, head of Morgan Creek Productions, warned, "I'm not going to risk putting Charlie in the movie if he continues messing up." Robinson knows all too well what happens when you have a star's trainwreck tendencies spill onto the set, having worked with another rehab veteran: Lindsay Lohan. The CEO explained, "When Lindsay was doing 'Georgia Rule,' she would miss full days of work. When an actor doesn't show up for work, you can lose half-a-million dollars a day paying the 250 other people there for the shoot and the costs for the set."

Robinson's warning comes on the heels of Sheen's heated rants against writer/producer Chuck Lorre for canceling the final four episodes of "Two and a Half Men" this season, where Sheen earns $1.8 million an episode.

Sheen's been on "Two and a Half Men" for so long that fans may not remember that he was a movie star in the '80s and early '90s, headlining such box office hits as "Wall Street," "Hot Shots" and the "Major League" movies, where he played pitcher Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn.

What a sad state of affairs that the rich and famous are accountable to none... Sheen needs serious help and until he realises that nothing will change. His latest rant, filled with anti-semititic hatred, is self-revealing - enough said. In my opinion he needs to be pulled off the air until he can see himself as he really is - a broken man in need of help who has been blessed with talents and resources... just like the rest of us. Let's help bring increased accountability into Hollywood for people with character and integrity to be held high as examples of the best our culture has to offer. Let's not judge Charlie but pray for him.
