Charlie Sheen to save Lindsay Lohan? Stranger things have happened

It may just take someone like Charlie Sheen to save Lindsay Lohan from herself and since Sheen has sent out an offer to do this, it might be something Lindsay shouldn’t refuse. According to TMZ on Sunday, March 3, 2013, Sheen wants to be Lindsay’s savior, or at least a type of a mentor to keep her away from her “dress shedding buddies.”

Whether Lindsay wants a mentor or not Sheen is ready to hang out with her and try to lead her off the path that Charlie knew all so well. This guy has been there before and when it comes to anything that Lindsay can conjure up for trouble, he probably wrote the book on it.

Some might be scratching their heads today thinking that Sheen’s reputation puts him as the last person that could offer Lindsay a way out of her troubled life, but the opposite may be true. Sheen knows the down side to partying and living life by breaking the rules, which eventually puts you in trouble with the law. He said, “If she listens, she’ll win, if she doesn’t, that’s on her.

Charlie still claims that he’s never hooked up with Lindsay. The two worked on “Scary Movie 5” together and then Sheen gave Lindsay $100,000 to get rid of her tax problem. The guy really seems to care about what happens to the former Disney kid gone wild, even more than Lindsay seems to care about herself these days.

She has to be tired of being the laughing stock of Hollywood with all the court appearances, even her lawyer is subjected to put-downs by the judge these days. She's not getting any younger and with a little luck and a lot of hard work of staying on the straight and narrow, she could possibly salvage her career.

It’s not hard to believe that Charlie probably sees a lot of his younger self in Lindsay and he’s trying to spare her from the bottom that he hit. If Lindsay did take him up on his offer to mentor her away from her troubled antics, she really might have a chance at a better life.

She’s a fantastic actress, but because she is so hard to insure and in some cases she'd most likely be insurable, she doesn’t have scripts dropped on her lap often. The movies that she’s done lately aren’t anything that spotlighted her talent. Her Liz Taylor portrayal wasn’t as bad as the movie itself, but put a cleaned up Lindsay Lohan in a movie with a good script, she might surprise you.

Go Charlie, if anyone has a chance at cleaning up Lindsay’s lifestyle it would be you!
