Actor Charlie Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller will be facing a multitude of questions from social workers as to a video that has surfaced of her smoking crack. It was the drug overdose that led to her being placed on involuntary psychiatric hold that resulted in her losing custody of her twins.
After Brooke Mueller overdosed earlier this year, it was the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services investigators who took her custody from her. Sheens’ ex-wife, Denise Richards currently has custody of the twins, Bob and Max.
A source close to the situation stated, “Brooke has a lot of explaining to do. The time has come when Brooke will be allowed to spend overnight visits with Bob and Max. She doesn’t want the visits to be supervised but won’t oppose it at the same time.”
“Even though she has complied with everything that child protective services have asked of her, the emergence of the video is important. She will be asked about the video and the circumstances surrounding that time in her life.”
“She’ll be quizzed about where the twins were on this occasion and whether or not they saw their mom. Social workers will want to establish whether they were in danger during the time when this video was shot.”
The video was allegedly shot prior to Mueller losing custody of her kids. In the video Mueller is heard asked her dealer, “Where is the crystal? I am giving you $1500” while she clutched a glass pipe. The overdose led to her 20th trip to rehab.
Brooke Mueller is expecting to be released in the next two weeks and will live with a sober living companion at her mansion in Beverly Hills.
