Charlie Sheen released on bail for alleged domestic violence against Brooke Mueller Sheen. Charlie Sheen was arrested Christmas morning in Aspen for assault, menacing and criminal mischief. He was released on $8,500 bail Friday night. An ambulance was called to the house where Sheen was staying, but no one was taken away.
Sheen married Brooke Mueller Sheen in May 2008, and the couple had twin boys born in March of 2009.
Charlie Sheen is the star of Two and a Half Men, a TV sitcom; and has starred in numerous movies including Wall Street and Platoon. In 2008, Charlie Sheen was the highest paid TV actor in making $825,000 per episode.
Charlie Sheen, 44, is the son of Martin Sheen, and brother of actor-director Emilio Estevez.
Sheen was arrested in 1996 for assault, when a woman was knocked unconscious at his home. He wasn’t charged in the case.
