Charlie Sheen arrested, wife Brooke Mueller Sheen stopped talking to police. Charlie Sheen was arrested Friday morning in Aspen, Colorado and released on bail at 7 pm for alleged domestic violence against Brooke Muller Sheen.
Sheen was charged with assault, menacing and criminal mischief, and was released on $8,500 bail. An ambulance was called to the house where Sheen was staying, but no one was taken away.
Sheen married Brooke Mueller Sheen in May 2008, and the couple had twin boys born in March of 2009.
Charlie Sheen is the star of Two and a Half Men, a TV sitcom; and has starred in numerous movies including Wall Street and Platoon. In 2008, Charlie Sheen was the highest paid TV actor in making $825,000 per episode.
Charlie Sheen, 44, is the son of Martin Sheen, and brother of actor-director Emilio Estevez.
Brooke Mueller Sheen announced Saturday that she is done talking to the police about the incident. The story that Brooke told police when she called 911 is completely different now. Brooke was legally drunk when she called 911 early Christmas morning, and told police that Charlie assualted her. And now Brooke won't speak to the police about the incident.
Charlie Sheen’s next court appearance is set for February 8, 2010.
