Charlie Hunnam to join 'Crimson Peak'

Charlie Hunnam is slowly but surely becoming a big deal.

With a great turn in “The Ledge” (wrongfully copied and overshadowed by “Man on a Ledge”) he went on to star in Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming “Pacific Rim” which looks to be amazing.

With a hit series on FX (“Sons of Anarchy”) he is destined for greatness, and Guillermo seems to think so too.

Variety reported this weekend that Hunnam is in negotiations to star in del Toro’s next film, the Gothic romance haunted house flick “Crimson Peak.”

He will potentially star alongside Emma Stone (“Gangster Squad”) who is also in negotiations to star, but plot details are being kept quite the secret for now (maybe because his last haunted house flick “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” bombed).

With this casting, and my faith in Guillermo still unshaken, this is quickly becoming a must-see project.
