“Sons of Anarchy” Charlie Hunnam has been keeping mum since dropping out of “Fifty Shades of Grey.” On Tuesday, October 22, Entertainment Weekly caught up with the star to ask what’s next in his agenda.
Hunnam met with his “Sons of Anarchy” costars at an event to benefit the nonprofit One Heart Source in Burbank, California. While the actor failed to give a detailed explanation of his decision to leave Sam Taylor’s adaptation of “Fifty Shades of Grey,” he did share what he has planned next.
“I’m doing good,” Hunnam said. “When I wrap the show [“Sons of Anarchy”], I am going to go to England and see my people. And then I have a film that I am doing with Guillermo [del Toro]. So I am going to go and do that and [then] concentrate on the final seasons of ‘Sons.’”
The role of Christian Grey is currently being recast. Alexander Skarsgard from “True Blood” is rumored to be on the shortlist, as well as Billy Magnussen and Jamie Dornan.
