Charlie Brown arrested; voice actor Peter Robbins stalking charges

Oh, Good Grief!

This was a crime that neither Snoopy or Lucy could help him with.

Peter Robbins, who was the voice for Charlie Brown in many Peanuts' television shows, was arrested on charges that include stalking.

A spokesperson for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Angelica de Cima told U-T San Diego that Peter was arrested Sunday after doing a background check that showed a warrant for his arrest from San Diego.

Robbins, 56, will be arraigned Wednesday on four counts of death and bodily injury threats and stalking charges.

There have been no other details on the arrest of Robbins and there were no additional details on the warrant.

Robbins was the voice of Charlie Brown on many TV specials including, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Boy Named Charlie Brown, You're in Love Charlie Brown and A Charlie Brown Christmas."

He provided good ole Chuck's voice from 1965-1969 and was the one who first performed Charlie Brown's famous, "AAUGGGHH!!", that continued to be used in all Peanut's shows.

He also appeared on F-Troop and an episode of Get Smart.

One wonders if maybe Peter was stalking the little red haired girl.
