Charlene Wittstock, Olympic athlete and now Princess Charlene of Monaco was the blushing blue bride in Monaco. Exchanging vows with Prince Albert II on Friday, the bride was looking stunning in front of guests and family at the private ceremony.
Princess Charlene of Monaco was wearing a custom made outfit - sky blue jacket and dress - for the event that had the eyes of the world on Monaco. The gorgeous bride had a stylish sport jacket that slightly sloped down the center of the body for a perfect look. Revealing little, but holding a perfect shape, the neckline was perfectly framed. The jacket was buttoned so the bodice of the dress couldn’t be seen, however the skirt of the gown flowed perfectly to the floor. Ruffling ever so slightly, the flow of the skirt swayed softly in such an elegant manner.
The first of what will be several outfits seen on Princess Charlene, the new bride will once again show another gown for the religious ceremony set for Saturday. Speculation on which designer might have created the gown has left the country (and the fashion world) in suspense.
Take a look at Princes Charlene’s fashion choice of Chanel for the civil ceremony in the photo slide show.
