Charlemagne Cat Colony

Remember this cat colony in the east end of Montreal where the city decided to remove all the shelters just before winter. Many cats died from cold and malnutrition since the ladies were forbidden to feed them.

We trapped a few cats, had them fixed and some were even adopted. The last batch we trapped, we found out they were once family cats. Docile and healthy, they were put outside when the owners moved out of Plourde street in July.

So 5 of them are huge males which never were bothered by the shortage of food since they went to the bowls first. Since they were neutered, they are acting like they do not mind being inside and are ready for adoption.

Their adoption is the only condition we can continue to help this colony. Our shelter being small it is full to the rafters and we cannot take in another cat. So if you would like some info on these huge males, and you like big cats, and you would like to adopt, phone me 438 875 0748

There is also a small black female, sweet and bouncy who is attracted only to canned food. So funny how we can manipulate her. She is tripping all over herself and her bowls. We have to redo her cage three times a day so she can manage to find a dry place.

Let everybody know that in order to save some, we have to adopt some. And they are worth it.
