Charisma Carpenter may play a schemer on The Lying Game, but in reality she has a really big heart. Tonight she is stepping out in Los Angeles to host a charity concert to benefit the Bethlehem Parents Primary School in Uganda. And she has inspired many of her The Lying Game friends and co-stars to come with her.
Carpenter, Ryan Rottman, Allie Gonino, Blair Redford, Alice Greczyn, and Alexandra Chando (among some others from other shows) will be in Los Angeles tonight at the special charity concert open to the public.
The Bethlehem Parents Primary School is dedicated to rescuing abandoned, orphaned and at risk children by providing them with a safe haven to sleep, food, spiritual enrichment and love. They are dedicated to cultivating young minds into future responsible adults. Carpenter's "Bands for Beds" event aims to raise enough money to provide every child in the school with a new bed.
