Charice has been known for her powerhouse vocals after being discovered on Youtube by Ellen Degeneres and Oprah Winfrey. The long haired lass wooed fans around the world which led to her first studio album “Charice” in 2010.
However, that young girl has grown up into her own with her new look and an independent air about herself after coming out of the closet letting the world know she is a lesbian. Returning to the world stage for concert “Charice World Tour,” fans will get to know who the real Charice, from her music and her personality.
Charice arrived in Los Angeles on March 5th at LAX as her fans, the Chasters greeted her. They presented her with gifts along with their support for the singer. Arriving in LA with Charice included her musical director for the tour Troy Laureta and her manager Glenn Alcabasa Aldueza. Former "The Voice" contestant Cheesa also greeted Charice and Troy. Troy happens to be the brother of the Cheesa.
Cheesa will be performing at the Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego leg of the Charice World Tour.
During her press conference held at Cerritos Mitsubishii on Friday, March 5, Charice assured the fans that during the Charice World Tour, she will make sure to belt out songs that she’s known for along with songs that represent her now from rock to hip-hop. The crowd chanted, “Sample! Sample! Sample!” Charice quickly obliged with a popular Filipino song, “Pusong Bato.”
