With the New York Giants just having won the Super Bowl this past weekend, is it too early to think about the 2012 season?
For the San Diego Chargers, a second straight year missing out on the playoffs did not sit very well with management, the players and the fans. That being said, the Bolts hope that this coming season will see a reversal of their recent post-season woes, mainly not getting there.
The Chargers, who have lost out on the AFC West Division crown the last two seasons to Denver and Kansas City respectively, recently announced their opponents for the 2012 campaign.
While the exact dates and times (season starts Sept. 6) are not yet set by the NFL, Bolts fans can at least take a look at who is coming to town and where San Diego will be visiting this coming fall.
Among the teams slated to visit America's Finest City will be 2011-12 AFC playoff participants Denver, Baltimore and Cincinnati, along with NFC participant Atlanta.
Home: Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers
Away: Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
