Will it be the one that beat NFC East leading Dallas two weeks ago or will it be the one that in essence slept walk through the first half of last Sunday night's 27-17 loss at rival Oakland?
Sitting at 2-3 after five weeks of play, the Chargers can ill afford to to lay another egg tonight when the AFC South leading Colts (4-1) come to town. A loss would put San Diego at 2-4, all but essentially guaranteeing it a must-win situation over the final 10 games of the season to have any hopes of breaking a three-year playoff drought.
After tonight's tilt with Indy, the Chargers head to 0-6 Jacksonville next Sunday, then get their bye week (Oct. 27) before heading back out on the road for a Nov. 3 date with Washington.
The Colts, meantime, find themselves alone in first place in their division, somewhat surprising given how defending AFC South champ Houston has faltered to date.
Indy looks to win at San Diego heading into its showdown at home next Sunday evening against Peyton Manning and the unbeaten Denver Broncos.
