While many San Diego Charger fans probably wish the season had gone on just a little bit further, the 2014 season is not too far down the road.

With that in mind, the NFL and the Bolts recently announced the team's schedule for next fall. Specific dates and times will be announced later this year.

As for its home slate, the Chargers will play host to the following: Denver, Kansas City, Oakland, New England, the New York Jets, St. Louis, Seattle and Jacksonville.

As for its road slate, San Diego will travel to the following: Denver, Kansas City, Oakland, Buffalo, Miami, Arizona, San Francisco and Baltimore.

When you first glance at the schedule, you will notice that a number of 2013 playoff teams dot the schedule, including Denver, Kansas City, San Francisco, New England and Seattle.

One of the biggest challenges it seems year in and year out for the Bolts is coming away with a victory after a long trek to the East Coast.

In 2014, the Chargers will have to trek to Buffalo, Miami and Baltimore, accounting for an approximate total of 15,750 round trip miles traveled.

Of San Diego's home opponents - Broncos, Chiefs, Raiders, Patriots, Jets, Rams, Seahawks and Jaguars - which are you most excited to see at the 'Q' next season?
