It has been confirmed that Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park will be adding a new character meet and greet location. This latest addition to the Walt Disney World theme parks will be called “Adventurers Outpost.” The space that will be transformed to the new character spot previously was home to the Beastly Bazaar, which closed in August 2013.
This new indoor meet and greet location will be home for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Current characters will still be available in Camp Minnie-Mickey. The new location is expected to open up sometime in Spring 2013.
Along with the addition of the new meet and greet location, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park will be changing up a few other meet and greet locations. Daisy and Donald Duck will be relocated to the Discovery Island boat dock. This quacky pair will appear together for autographs and photos. To make room for Daisy and Donald, Winnie the Pooh and friends will be relocating to Camp Minnie-Mickey.
As I always say, meeting the characters is well worth the time you wait in line. It does not matter if you have kids or are an adult enjoying the parks. Meeting the characters can make for some Magical Memories!!
