From now until the 2012 elections, I am going to write a series of articles with the express purpose of trying to get the average reader to "think outside of the box" At the same time, I hope I am up to the task of keeping the subject matter entertaining. Before the next election occurs, it is my hope to get WE THE PEOPLE aka the Common person aka the General Public to experience a paradigm shift in their thinking with regard to politics and voting.
Ultimately, I want to change your perception of reality to one that reflects your own true thought processes. This as opposed to the your current perception of reality induced by the propaganda, censorship and duplicity of America's Major Media, Entertainment Industry, Big Business and our own alleged political leaders. All this with the goal of having you vote your own mind, rather than vote in the manner your Government and major media have manipulated you to.
That having been said....
I was first introduced to Chaos theory in college. It was one of those hazy late night philosophical discussions we often had in college.
In America, during our youthful years of public education we are indoctrinated with a belief that everything we choose to do is a matter of free will. If I choose to turn left, kick a can, drink water, blow off class, cast a vote or any act you can think of, we are taught to believe we had the ability aka free will, to choose to do something else. Turn Right, not drink, not skip class, not vote. We are taught that every action we take is fully within our personal control and we make our choices of our own free will.
Chaos Theory (Determinism) states that no matter what we do, we have no choice... we have no free will. According to Chaos Theory, so many external factors have acted upon you that you have no choice but to do what ever action you have done. Your choice has been predetermined by a multitude of previously occurring, external influences.
Being much younger then, of course I knew it all and immediately dismissed this proposed Chaos Theory as psycho-babble. Yet, almost half a life time later, I am willing to consider chaos theory as a viable explanation of certain political events and attitudes.
WISCONSIN PUBLIC EMPLOYEES
My personality is that of an analytical driver. I gather facts and make decisions. It has been my life’s presumption that the vast majority of people also act out of reason and logic.
It escapes me by what logic Rank and File Wisconsin Public Employees do not recognize that the current level of Government Spending is unsustainable. From my perspective, no matter how selfish I am, I can anticipate the government running out of money. I hear the numbers; I see the graphs and look at historic precedent. And regardless of how bad I want to maintain my current compensation and benefit level, I understand if the Government goes bankrupt within a year or two or five, my stream of compensation and benefits will end or be severely reduced.
Logically, the net present value of a somewhat smaller stream of revenue and benefits until the end of my employment and/or life time is far greater than a larger income and benefits ending or being reduced abruptly upon the economic collapse of the Government. I have searched for an explanation of how these Public Employees seemed to have reached an illogical conclusion.
I understand that Rank and File Public Employees feel that some other members of our society have not paid their fair share of taxes. But if their argument is one of economic equity that begs the question, "Why should Public employees benefit if additional tax revenue is raised?" Shouldn't the poor and the homeless be the first to benefit from any potential revenues first, while the Public employees compensation should remain static until the income of the poor and the homeless catch up?
As you can see, class warfare can be a matter of perspective - relative to how rich or poor you think you are relative to someone else. And it would seem apparent to all that that line of thinking leads to anarchy. If we want to go down that road, let’s just tax everybody and redistribute the money until everybody receives the same amount of money. [See "I am a Conservative trapped in a liberal’s body"]
LIMITED RESOURCES AND UNLIMITED HUMAN DEMAND
Let’s review what our own life experiences have taught us. The earth has limited resources. The human population of the earth has almost unlimited demand for these limited resources. A method to divide up the limited resources must be devised.
In the past, it has been brute force. Then Feudalism (Tradition, Religion and Brute Force) And we have evolved to a situation where limited resources can be divided up brute force in the guise of two basic resource allocation strategies:
1) A group of people arbitrarily decides who gets access to limited resources (Dictatorships, Communism and Socialism)
2) Distribution of resources is controlled by a mechanism of free markets (Capitalism and Free Market Republics)
We have seen the problems the problems of a group of people making arbitrary resource allocations as indicated in Strategy 1. Strategy 1 also tends to produce a lower amount of goods for human consumption. And I presume each of us Americans places high value on personal liberty that is lost in Strategy 1.
That leaves us with the brute force of Strategy 2. Albeit imperfect, I presume the vast majority of my fellow Americans prefer Strategy 2 and reject the drawbacks of strategy 1.
Which brings us back to where we started; “How do we make sure that Free Market Forces properly reward producers and ration limited resources to consumers?” And what is the proper role of government in this equation?
To the specific matter at hand; “How did we get to the point where Rank and File Public Employees do not understand that the current level of Government spending is unsustainable?” How did we get to the point where Rank and File Public Employees do not care that property tax payers can pay no more taxes?
As importantly; “How did we get to the point where WE THE PEOPLE cannot speak rationally amongst ourselves and reach agreement? Especially given that we agree we don't want to live under a totalitarian government of Strategy 1 yet we must have balanced budgets?
CITIZEN TO FELLOW CITIZEN
One on one, I trust my fellow American Citizen... I trust them to understand that Resource Strategy 1 is not an acceptable answer. I trust them to love their personal liberty as much as I love mine. I trust them to understand that our standard of living will plunge to 3rd world levels if the value of the dollar collapses. I trust my fellow citizen to understand that if our government just continues to print worthless fiat money, the rest of the world will lose confidence in our money and it will become worthless. I trust them to understand that our current level of Government spending is unsustainable. Citizen to Fellow Citizen, I trust we have this understanding.
CHAOS THEORY AND RANK AND FILE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES
Over time, Rank and File Public employees have come to trust their leaders more than their fellow average citizens. Why not? Their leaders have delivered raises and more benefits consistently with the willing consent of our then elected officials and bureaucrats.
This leads to the crushing external forces that cause them to lose their free will.. The Rank and File trust their leaders (aka handlers) more than they do their own judgment. And then there is the peer pressure effect. And pretty soon the Rank and File are no longer thinking for themselves as individuals nor do they trust their own instincts. Instead they begin acting as a herd, following the instructions of their leaders and enjoying the comradery and fearing the consequences of refusing to follow the herd.
The Rank and File of the Public Employees Unions have lost their Free Will whether they choose to admit it or not.
CHAOS THEORY AND RANK AND FILE CONSERVATIVES
Lest you think I let the Republicans off easy, chaos theory also has caused them to lose their Free Will.
Many conservatives answer the call of our alleged leaders like trained seals also.
How many conservatives dutifully answered the call to an opposing rally in Madison?
Are you trying to tell me that none of us Conservatives can figure out putting to emotionally charged, diametrically opposed political groups in close proximately to each other is not a recipe for disaster? Are none of us Conservatives smart enough to recognize that this is not a situation conducive to constructive dialogue?
And in the aftermath, will not any victory be undermined by the angst of those we have alienated? Or is a perpetual state of angst what we aspire to?
Can none of us recognize that our Conservative leaders have instructed us to engage in unproductive events and courses of action?
Chaos Theory - Each of us Rank and File Conservatives and Democrats are smart enough to recognize what our leaders are asking us to do will not be productive, yet we do it for the same two reasons Rank and File Public Union members suborn their Free Will to the direction of their alleged leaders. Rank and File Conservatives have also stopped thinking for themselves and fear the backlash of their respective political peer group if they fail to conform and comply.
For these reasons, many conservatives and liberals have no choice but to what they do because of external influences acting upon them.
RANK AND FILE CONSERVATIVES AND DEMOCRATS:
PLEASE EXERCISE YOUR FREE WILL AND THINK FOR YOURSELVES
THINK, DO NOT BLINDLY FOLLOW
Why do you let others think for you?
Does it not occur to you that your respective leaders are giving you bad advice and direction?
Does it not occur to you that there are better ways of reconciling our differences?
Does not the ineffective course of action our political leaders are demanding suggest to you they have ulterior motives?
Do you not think to yourselves?
Why are you upset with the rank and file of the opposition when they have no more control of the situation than you do?
Does it not occur to you that WE THE PEOPLE should be upset with the politicians and not each other?
Why is there no elected leader that has emerged and attempted to reconcile and unify us?
Does it not occur to any of you that the ruling class politicians are just dividing and conquering WE THE PEOPLE?
Does it not occur to each of you the politicians pit us against each other to distract us from the politicians’ own culpability?
Does it not occur to each of you that this causes our respective groups to vent our energy and frustrations on each other rather than politicians who actually caused the mess?
ATTENTION - RANK AND FILE UNION MEMBERS AND LIBERALS
Please read Saul Alinsky's Rule for Radicals and recognize that one of the strategies is to infiltrate and take over domestic organizations and then radicalize them. (Page 8 line 1 and Page 10 Paragraph 5 Sentence 2)
Please inform yourselves Cloward-Piven Strategy.
In so reading, please consider if your leaders merit you surrendering your free will to them.
Attention Private Employee Union Rank and File - Please understand the Wisconsin issue is about Public Employees Unions and not Private Employee Unions. Your leaders are trying to whip you into a frenzy by not distinguishing between Public and Private employee Unions.
Please try to understand what it is we Rank and File true, grassroots non-GOP Astroturf conservatives are about. My, and any true American Patriot's, enlightened positions are rooted in Natural Rights and Natural Law.
Please understand that my belief is that Cloward-Piven Strategy is just another path to the brute force of the Limited Resource Allocation Strategy 1. It is not acceptable to myself and my fellow conservatives (for a variety of reasons, but primarily from the perspective of personal liberty and economic viability). We believe that once any Citizen realizes the direction these affairs are heading, it won't be cceptable to you either.
Finally, once you are operating under your own free will without the chaotic influence of your allged leaders, seek out we true, grassroots conservatives who are also working under their own free will without the chaotic influence of their alleged leaders. Let us have a reasoned dialogue and not just put a dog and pony show on for the alleged political leaders.
RANK AND FILE TRUE GRASSROOTS NON-GOP ASTROTURF CONSERVATIVES
Please understand that our leaders also directed us to an unproductive and dangerous strategy of confrontation.
We conservatives talk about our high moral road and our "can do" attitude...
Are you telling me that we cannot think of a better way of persuading our fellow citizens to our perspective of reality?
Are you telling me you cannot see the downside of this type of confrontation leaving the country divided in the after math?
Are you telling me we can't figure out a better way to have compassion for our fellow citizens upon who we are asking a great personal sacrifice?
Is this the high minded morals, ethics and compassion we ascribe to ourselves while amongst ourselves?
It is time we conservatives start walking the walk and not let ourselves be led around by our noses by our alleged political leaders.
REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC is about free will, not blind loyalty or subservience to our party or alleged political leaders.
Ask yourselves; “Why have none of our conservative political leaders came forward to unify the citizens of our country?”
Ask yourselves; “Why do our own conservative leaders pit us against our fellow citizens?”
Ask yourselves, if our leaders make WE THE PEOPLE ever more polarized, does that weaken or strengthen our country?
Ask yourselves, does Polarization lead to division and Balkanization?
Ask yourselves, Do you want America to split apart?
Ask yourselves, Do you think a divided and Balkanized America will be more or less suseptable to being gobbled up by a One World Government or a New world Order?
Ask yourselves, What happens to your liberty, your freedom, you constitution, your Bill of Rights, your Citizen Sovereignty if we are dvided and conquered, Balkanized and split apart?
Do we not have one conservative politician among us that will rally the American people to untity and renewed greatness?
I FULLY CONCUR THAT THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT SPENDING LEVELS ARE UNSUSTAINABLE AND THAT MASSIVE BUDGET CUTS HAVE TO OCCUR SWIFTLY
But Conservatives and Liberals alike, WE THE PEOPLE are not being treated as Citizens...
WE THE PEOPLE, THE RIGHTFULL SOVEREIGNS of America are being handled like cattle by our politicians. [see Edward Bernays - here and here]

Make no bones about it, I do not know what the course of action is; I just know it is not this one. Further, it would be contradictory for me to tell you what course of action to take after expounding on why you should trust your own thoughts and exercise your own FREE WILL.
Our Political Leaders should be inspiring WE THE PEOPLE to greatness, instead they are tearing us down.
And we have no one to blame but our Rank and File selves.
WE THE PEOPLE HAVE FAILED TO EXERCISE OUR CIVIC DUTY AND KEEP OUR GOVERNMENT IN CHECK.
I submit to you that the true battle is not Republican v Democrat, nor Conservative v Liberal, nor white v Color, nor Christianity v any other religion, nor educated v undeducated; rather I submit to you....
THE TRUE BATTLE IS WE THE PEOPLE VS THE CORRUPT POLITICIANS.
I close with this direction… Please exercise your Free Will and caste off the Chaos your alleged political leaders have inflicted upon you.
Seek out those your political party says are your enemies and determine what it is you have in common.
Focus on your commonalities and do not let others use your differences to divide you.
Use your Free Will to attempt to resolve this issue and other issues in a mutually acceptable and beneficial manner.
Regardless of your political stripe, if you cannot reach an understanding… Then let us admit the Great American Experiment has failed.
Let us stop indoctrinating the youth with a perception of reality of America being something other than the reality that exists. Let us stop indoctrinating our children to be sucker-punched victims of the ruling class elite.
If we cannot even try to aspire to the alleged higher moral and ethical standards we teach to our children in our public schools, let us not do our children further harm by continuing espouse a perspective of reality that does not exist.
FOR MYSELF, WITH MY FELLOW CITIZENS OF ALL POLITICAL STRIPES HAVING THUSLY BEEN ENLIGHTENED, I SHALL WORK AT EXTRACTING MYSELF FROM THE CHAOS OF OUR POLITICIANS AND TOWARD TRULY FREE WILL EXCHANGES BASED IN AND UPON NATURAL RIGHTS AND NATURAL LAW.
FOR MY FELLOW CITIZENS, I ASK ONLY THAT YOU THINK FOR YOURSELVES, TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS AND DO NOT BLINDLY FOLLOW ANYONE. I trust you to do the right thing and ask that same trust of you.

To those of you who relish the challenge to renew and reinvigorate our commitment to libery, freedom and Natural Law, I tell you we are graced and honored to live in these times.
To those of you who find yourselves inconvenienced and put upon that your life is interrupted by these turbulent times, I tell you it is unfortunate that the work and sacrifice required to ensure our liberty and freedom falls during your generation, but the only alternative is tyranny which you would find far more detrimental to your standard of living.
Whatever your emotions regarding thees trying times.... Lead or get out of the way.
In closing, I write these articles with the same intent as Thomas Payne... I seek no leadership role. I seek only to help the American People find their own way using their own "Common Sense".
