It was only in May when it was announced that Donna Summer had died after battling cancer. Donna was just 63.

Since Donna’s death, speculation has rum rampant as to how Donna actually got cancer. Although far from confirmed, there is at least one report that suggests Donna believed she developed cancer from the cloud dust that wafted through the air in the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Along with “Bad Girls,” Donna Summers biggest hits included “Hot Stuff” and “Last Dance.”
