Channing Tatum is set to star in a gay romantic comedy film. The movie, which co-stars “SNL” newcomer, John Milhiser, will be directed by “Bridesmaids” director Paul Feig, Hollyscoop reported on Oct. 12.
According to the report, Mihiser’s character gets involved with an extremely handsome man, played by Channing Tatum, and doesn’t know how to deal with dating such a good looking guy.
The character’s insecurities take over, and then lead to a series of events that are sure to have fans laughing like crazy.
Channing Tatum has really proven to be an actor of all genres. Whether her’s making us laugh in “21 Jump Street” or “She’s The Man,” making us cry in “The Vow” or “Dear John,” or showing off his action skills in “G.I. Joe” or “Whitehouse Down,” the actor seems to be ready for anything.
However, a gay romantic comedy is something new for Tatum, who is usually paired opposite an A-list leading lady such as Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, or his real-life wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
